    Loose Tab Washer in Transmission Housing - B7100HST

    @D2Cat, the chewed up washer's tab, although it is a bit mangled, appears to be bent over. So my guess is the bolt sheared or backed out, or maybe it wasn't bent over enough. I don't know the tractor's service history, and I've never taken it in. @N3BP, thanks, I saw those as well in the manual...

    Loose Tab Washer in Transmission Housing - B7100HST

    The WSM helped, thanks. Appears to be a Tongue Washer, Ref No. 12 or 14 on page 24. Found them for sale online for a whopping 48 cents. I wish I knew what the function is and whether or not it is worth going into the transmission case to replace.

    I think it's old, 4-lug on fronts. B7100 HST-D on plate. Will try downloading the WSM.

    Loose Tab Washer in Transmission Housing - B7100HST

    I found a chewed up tab washer about the size of a quarter when I removed the suction side pump screens during a fluid change on my B7100HST (attached pic). I heard the piece drop down to the bottom of the housing while draining the fluid. I don't see any tab washers on the service manual...
