Thank you for posting this diagram. It confirms that I know what I am looking at. The diagram looks pretty much like what I have, but I can't figure out how to get the pump out.

How do you get the fuel pump out of an RTV500?

My RTV 500 started having this problem years ago. Now won't start at all. Appears to be a fuel pump problem Can anyone tell me how to get the fuel pump out?

The filter is right behind the driver. I didn't recognize anything else. Incidentally, the last post was supposed to be "no sound from the fuel PUMP," not the "fuel filter."

rtv500 has 105 hours, and cranks, but won't start. No noise from fuel filter when key is turned one click. I took the fuel line off the filter and tried to start. No gas came out. I'm thinking fuel pump problem. Fuse is ok, but I cannot find the pump or the relay for it (if there is one)...
