Hi I'm thinking of getting a backhoe for my B7200 hst. Does it have enough power/weight . Any advice would be much appreciated on what I'm proposing as I'm new to this

Spot on guys thanks, it's free now and I have compression. It's still not firing, there is fuel to the injectors and the glow plugs are working so I'm hoping an over night battery charge will give the power needed to fire her up in the morning

Hi I've inadvertently shorted/blown the dashboard glow plug indicator on my B7200 and can't find a UK supplier for the part. I believe it's 25 amp Part Numbers: 15531-65950, ELI80-0177. Is there a fix please ? Could I use 25amp fuse wire ?

Thanks 85Hokie and D2Cat I had assumed by forcing the lever shut on the engine that would provide compression. Will try and let you know

I should have mentioned this was stuck open but I forced it closed by pushing the lever to closed position on the engine, it's not freed up but is in the closed position. Didn't seem to make any difference to way engine sounds while turning over/spinning.... very easy turnover, too easy! A fast...

Tganks. Hope you are right i will try again, the engine turning over seeems to , "Easy" if you know what i mean no labouring or any sign of a fire up. Used to use it for work but stopped doing landscaping, want to fit a backhoe now for some trenching i need to do

Thanks i took the oil filler cap off while turning engine for quick look inside and tappets/valves seem to be going up and down am i right to think this means pistons moving ok ? Woukd the engine still turn iver with stuck rings ? Excuse my ignorance.

Hi I parked the B7200 up in a shed 15 years ago, yesterday i tried to start it!!!, here is the low down 1. Drained oil and changed oil and filter 2. Drained fuel, changed filter and bled system 3. Drained and filled radiator 4. Changed air filter 5. Pulled glow plugs out and tested (all okay)...
