    Stand or Storage Options

No rake but the rear blades are a similar design and concern. They either want to roll on their back or tilt forward with the top in to the ground. I use a couple of dolly’s from Harbor Freight and rest the blade on the back. It allows me to easily position the attachment and get the lower arms...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Hopped on the B1700 and mowed for a couple hours. Rain the next three days so might as well get it while I’m not air boating. After 4 hrs of tractor time the back feels great. Bring on the summer !

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It will take some getting used to but after 4 passes with the scarifiers down and 4 more with just the plane, it’s looking pretty good. I have 45 min at this point and probably another 20 to go. This GS1572 is all my B32 can handle. Need to get a bucket of stone to help get some down pressure...

Windshield washer fluid - where to buy?

I got mine end of season at Rural King. I think I paid 1.20/gal for the -20 stuff a few years back. As far as using it for what it is intended, I make my own with the blue tablets and isopropyl in the winter

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Noticed the grab handle in the B1700 was loose the other day. Inspected it at lunch and a nut was missing. The wife was in town so I had her grab one from the store. M10-1.25 flange nut. 14mm socket needed. Ran it on and tightened all handles on both the B1700 and the B3200. All were loose...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was on tick tube duty and this guy showed up. 23 tons of 617’s or 57’s with dust. My son is learning valuable FEL skills and I now have him grading the drive.

    Tick Tube Time

Back in to the garage to finish them up. Pointers from this round. Each tube takes about 1.5 cotton balls shredded. I found that making a pile and then compressing to insert helps keep the cotton in the tube. Don’t try to hold on to the cotton while pulling it apart, you just compress it and...

    Tick Tube Time

I have 25 acres here with 11 being woods the big issues are the tree lines and the tall grass areas I don’t mow. This batch will be around 25 tubes and disbursed between the house mowed area and field where the pup is getting ticks. Will also drop some in the gardens around the house...

    I wanted to buy local

Had I been thinking I would have hit RK as well. TSC is about 30 minutes further in the opposite direction. I didn’t want to buy nuts as well since I have a ton but yeah, SAE would have been better
