Thanks, good to know. Just thought I’d mention why I had the issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    l39 no forward or reverse

I’ve got an L3940 and it started revving up and down when I would drive it and eventually it didn’t go forwards or backwards. Ended up having to replaced the HST valves. Not sure if a GST is similar... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All fixed up

Kubota is running great after the new valves were installed. Also spent over 4 hours today fixing a wiring issue on the work lights and picking up some new rear hazards. !@#$ was that a pain in the ~!@. Had to completely disassemble the old ones that snapped off and use a vice to get them...

    Jerky throttle

Not sure if anyone is still following this post but it turns out the HST valves seized up. The original quote was for $1000 per valve but I think those are for a bigger tractor. Bill came to about $600 for the two valves and bolts and another $600 in labour... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finally said screw it and brought the L3940 to kubota. As soon as I got there I had no forward and reverse. Guy says it’s most likely the HST valves and they are $1000 each lol. I hope it’s something else when he tears it apart Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It doesn’t shift from turtle to rabbit lol. I’ve played around with the HST knob and ha e never found a difference whether I turn it up or down... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You mean the throttle lever on the right or the adjustment knob on the left? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Jerky throttle

The only time I use the throttle lever is when I’m pushing a good amount of snow. I drive with auto throttle advance on, stall guard on and usually in H unless I’m driving on grass and I throw it in M. I’ve tried different combinations of settings and nothing seems to work. But what I asked...

Alright guys. It’s been a while but here’s an update. Our mechanic said he dealt with someone who had a similar issue. He told me this guy went into the settings of the tractor on the dash and was able to recalibrate it. Has anybody heard of this before I go online? Sent from my iPhone...

    Jerky throttle

I just reply to questions as best I can dude lol. The issue at first was the tractor driving on its own and rpms surging but now it doesn’t drive on its own and the rpms surge after it fully warms up. It’s just been confusing to try and see what’s happening, especially since it’s been -30...

Yeah I tried everything. Makes no difference when the machine is at full running temperature. So weird Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m almost certain it’s electronic after researching. Our mechanic said there might be a way for it to be reprogrammed or something/re calibrated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha here’s a good laugh. I didn’t know what this was and I turned it, causing the three point hitch on the back to lock... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds about right lol. Top speed of 25 kph. It’s an awesome little machine and sometimes over powers our plow trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Jerky throttle

So we just got a dumping of snow and decided to take the tractor out. Let it warm up for 10 minutes like usual and it drives no problem. Get to my first school, do the sidewalks no problem. By the time I’m at my next school, the thing starts acting up. I took a video of what it does but not...

I’ve already established that it’s hydraulic...it’s never going back to the dealer. They charge way too much and don’t fix the problem half the time. Our mechanic will fix it and if there’s an issue he’ll figure it out free of charge lol... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It has to be a hydraulic issue somewhere. The spreader on the back also won***8217;t lower or raise now. Also, turns out I don***8217;t have to work now! Frack yeah, the way Christmas Eve should go. Mod edit! Watch the language!!!! And Merry Christmas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
