Ok that makes me feel better i guess.. I tried it in the stop position for a while to see if it would count but didnt have any issues with the battery.

In the stop it stays running. There is a push button solenoid to kill it. When its in stop the fuel and temp gauges turn off and the hour meter stops, but the tractor runs fine. In the "run" position the gauges come back on and hour meter starts ... Just doesnt seem like an accurate way to keep...

I just picked up a bx2230 and it has 700+ hours on it. If i turn the ignition to "stop" the tractor runs like normal but the hour meter doesnt climb.. It only climbs if i turn it one more notch to the right.. Not sure what this means. Im worried this thing could have more hours on it then stated.
