    Check he oil temp with a temperature gun if you have or can get one. Sound like hyd. Oil is getting hot. Just to be sure. Hyd oil usually does not discolour if over heated. A little whiff of white vapour is normal but continuos smoke is not

    minute mount mirrors

    Not sure if someone has already posted this tip so I did but if it is a repeat feel free to move it. I used 2 cap mount clamps from Princess Auto to mount mirrors on the risers for FEL. Did not want to drill holes. They are aluminum so won't rust. Attached pics
