I just did the 50hr service on my MX4800. I took off both oil drain plugs, took off the oil filter and pulled the dipstick and the fill cap and let it sit for 2hrs to make sure it was completely drained of oil. When I filled it back up, it took only 8qts to fill it instead of the 9qts it...

My MX4800 is due for its first 50hr service. I went to a Kubota dealer and bought Kubota parts. My question is, the manual says to change the engine oil and filter, and to change the transmission filter but not the fluid. Is this correct? The guy at the parts counter was no help.
