    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

They are wrong wheels for sure. The outside diameter of the front tires is 0.8" taller than the correct ones. That definitely makes a difference in the circumference of the tire. It doesn't bind when switching from 4wd to 2wd, tested on concrete, but I'm not taking any chances, don't want issues...

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

Haha! Seriously, what kind of dealer would put something like that out the door? [emoji47] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

Thanks. I didn't realize that there could be a difference until I looked at the tire manufacturers chart. I also noticed yesterday that the front wheels rub on the mower deck at full turn. I'm going to contact the dealer today and let them know. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

The 12" wheels are on the 2301, and the 14" wheels are on the 2601. The diameter of the tires on both machines are 23" as shown on the sidewall, but the tire on the 14" wheel is 0.8" larger diameter according to Titan tire. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

I looked on the Titan tire web page, and it appears the 23x8.50-14 is 0.8" larger in diameter than the 23x8.50-12. I need to find the gear ratio for the tractor, then I can calculate if I'm in tolerance. I am going to contact the dealer too. I don't want issues down the road. Sent from my...

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

Thanks for the info. They're both the same size and model number, but they're not the correct wheels for the model. I haven't noticed any issues so far. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Upgrade for improved loader

I take my loader off when I mow. It's easier to navigate around obstacles with it removed. It's easy enough to take off that I don't mind. I'm hoping the new design will be even easier. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Upgrade for improved loader

Thanks. Ive had the new tractor for 2 weeks now, but haven't used it much yet. I'm hoping that the few negative reviews, and fewer positive reviews means that most owners are happy with the new design. I do the same as you, install the loader when I need it. I use the loader a lot, but it's a...

    Upgrade for improved loader

Wow. I hope my ownership experience is better than it sounds like yours has been. I haven't seen a lot of reviews, good or bad. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Upgrade for improved loader

Hey all, I traded in my B2301 last week for a new B2601 with the Swift-Tach loader. The new and improved loader was the main reason I traded. I don't expect the small horsepower bump to be noticeable at the PTO. Has anyone else done this? It may seem like a small or senseless upgrade, but I'm...

    B2601 with B2650 front wheels?

Hey all, I just upgraded to a B2601 from a B2301 and I noticed it has what looks to be the front wheels from a B2650 on it. The outside diameter of the tires is the same between the two machines. Does anyone see any potential issues with this configuration? I also noticed these new wheels have...

    Spring maintenance

I changed my fuel filter, engine oil and filter this weekend, Kubota fuel and oil filter, and Rotella T6 5W-40. A couple of weeks ago I changed the hydraulic fluid, 5 gallons of SUDT2, and both filters. I don't have enough hours for the hydraulic oil change, but I don't want to wait that long...

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

Have you had issues with cracking? I preheated the cutting edge with a MAPP gas torch, mainly to get the moisture out. I got the steel hot enough that I couldn't hold my hand on it. I welded 3" beads, alternating sides, and back stepped my welds. I let things cool off a bit between welds. This...

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

Thanks! That looks good. I wish I would have drilled the factory edge and added a bolt on edge when the bucket was new. Lesson learned. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

Thanks! I think a lot of the wear is from my technique. I mainly used it in the dirt, but I have scooped stone and mulch from my concrete driveway. I think the biggest wear was from snow removal though. Our street is "Chip Seal", and it's like a cheese grater. I plan to get some Bruxite strips...

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

Thanks! It's a carbide tipped wheel. They cost about $20, but last a long time. The benefit is that you don't get as much grinding dust as you get from a fiber cutoff wheel, and I don't think you have the risk of a wheel shattering. It cut nice and straight. I highly recommend! Sent from my...

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

I replaced my factory cutting edge on my 54" bucket last weekend. At only 110 hours of use, it was already very worn. I measured the old edge at 3/8" x 3". The new edge is 5/8" x 6". Overkill, yeah, I know. With the 6" wide edge, I was able to cut the old edge out behind the weld line, which...

Added eye bolts to mower deck

I use the chains to lift the deck to clean and scrape it. I store it flat.

Added eye bolts to mower deck

So, after a bit of indecision, I decided to add a couple of 5/8" forged eye bolts to my 60" mower deck. These give me a safe and strong place to hook my chains. The brackets that they are mounted through are 1/2" thick, plus the thickness of the deck. Plenty strong. Sent from my iPhone using...
