    B2650: Mounting hardware 60" vs 72"

Ah, that's unfortunate. I originally bought the 60" deck mostly because I was going to be trailering the tractor a lot with the mower, and the 72" mower wasn't going to fit on my trailer. Now that's no longer the case, I haven't trailered the tractor in a couple years and don't really expect...

    Yep, RCK60-30BA.

    B2650: Mounting hardware 60" vs 72"

I'll probably just talk to a dealer to get this answer, but thought I'd see if I could get some thoughts here first. I have a B2650 with a 60" mid-mount mower. Anyone know if I wanted to run a 72" mid-mount mower, would my current mower mounts work or do they use a different setup?

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

That worries me about the L47 a bit. I was recently looking at one at a local dealer. It does seem like there's a lot of unprotected areas that I'd be concerned about when working in the woods or with a grapple clearing brush.

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

And OP, your situation sounds very similar to mine. I have a B2650 with FEL and BH, and I've been kicking around upgrading to an L47 also for similar reasons. My big two though are loader lift capacity and more convenient backhoe operation with the creeper and being able to spin the seat around...

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

Agree with the last post. I often see people say save up all your backhoe jobs and once or twice a year rent a mini-ex. Problem is I do a ton of quick things with my backhoe that can't be 'saved'. And even the bigger projects I've done with mine, some of them were kind of spur of the moment...

    B2601. 54" or 60" loader?

I'd go with the 60". I debated the same option when buying my B2650. Now I can't imagine having a smaller bucket. As said, they call it a "light material" bucket just because if you really filled the thing to the brim with a heavy material it might be a little heavy for your machine. If you're...

Binders and Chains or Ratchet Straps

In the front, I use the grab hooks on my chains on the frame. Works great and doesn't damage anything. When I had a BX I used to hook them to the bolted-on front brush guard which was pretty sturdy. Here's a pic I already had hosted for another purpose from years ago. I think I was showing...

Binders and Chains or Ratchet Straps

I'm not sure how so many are messing up their paint with chains. Are you running the chain over the machine instead of just hooking to anchor points? I've never hurt the paint on my machines with chains, but only the hooks at the end of the chain touch my machines, or I will sometimes run a...

Binders and Chains or Ratchet Straps

I prefer chains and ratchet binders. I'll use a ratchet strap for very lightweight stuff, UTVs, ATVs, small lawn tractors. Anything bigger, even a SCUT, I'll use chains if I can. Whatever you use, I always recommend checking them after driving a bit. It's not uncommon at all for something to...

    L-47 vs L4060

Finally got to see an L47 in person the other day. Didn't have the backhoe though. Still it gave me a chance to get a feel for the size and controls. One of the things I was looking forward to seeing is how well I could spin around the seat without getting up. I'm about 6' and I had a hard...

    L-47 vs L4060

Also fun fact, this is the same B2650 that is pictured at the top of the forum. It's seen a lot of use since then.

    L-47 vs L4060

Thanks guys. One other bigger digging project with the house build was for the 1000-gal underground propane tank.

    L-47 vs L4060

Interesting read, thanks for posting. For a couple years now I've been thinking about a Kubota L47 for general work around the property and maybe some side gigs here and there. Last year we finished having a new house built. I wish I could have had the L47 for that. I dug a lot of stuff with my...

    B2650 Oil change interval

Thanks guys. I've been going with the 200-hour interval, but then saw the WSM stated 100 and I was more just interested in why they have the WSM conflicting with the owner's manual, as in is one or the other an error or is there a reason the WSM would call for twice the frequency of oil changes.

    B2650 Oil change interval

Hello, Wondering if this has come up before and if there's an established resolution. I have a 2019 B2650. The owner's manual says the OCI is every 200 hours, while the workshop manual says every 100 hours. Do we know what's correct?

Damaged SSQA plate, good lesson learned

When I first came across that video I checked out the comments looking for hilarity. There wasn't much, but I saw at least one comment that implied they moved there from California..

Damaged SSQA plate, good lesson learned

Agreed. That was the first one I've seen of theirs. It's more amusing than anything. Their daughter seems like a good worker though.

Damaged SSQA plate, good lesson learned

I kind of had that thought regarding all the laughing about it. It's not the end of the world but I don't think I could bring myself to laugh about it. I'd be far too embarrassed and mad at myself. But hey, it got them clicks. Still, while I'm pretty careful about making sure SSQA attachments...

Damaged SSQA plate, good lesson learned

When I saw the title of the video I had low expectations but I was curious. Turned out to be a little more interesting than I anticipated. Just gotta fast forward through the first 9 minutes of "other stuff".
