    Ignition keys for B series

How did you go? Would you mind flicking a photo of the key for the B1600? I just spent the last few hrs searching for mine that fell out of my pocket (somehow found them half burried in a wombat hole dirtpile under my shed...) Mine is a poorly recut from the local hardware, and isnt in the best...

    B1600Dt (or 8200d, 9200d, B2150) front hub axel snapped

G'day all, Got greedy trying to beat the sunset moving the wood and have done myself a silly mischief, overloaded the FEL and hit a small pot hole at speed going downhill. Front hub axel had sheered clean off at the hub. So far, for new hub (from Denmark it seems) I am looking around the $1K...

    B1600 steering

Thanks again mate. The L175 had the correct proceedure I was needing. I now see it is alot more involved than simply renewing just the bearings. My previous research on the topic was pretty unfruitful, so thanks for the manuals (I think years ago you showed me them, but I since forgot all about...

    B1600 steering

I am up to the assembly of the shaft to box. I assumed (silly me) that just turning wheels all way to the left which raises the box finger gears to its max, and putting the shaft worm gear at its highest positon would make it it its correct loaction for full steering range as I lowered it down...

Anyone in Melbourne know who can fix this?

THANKS Wolf! After a few different sized big trees and a bit of courage I got it back to very close! Only a slight gap from the rams not able to close that smidge more (i doubt there is limiters in rams i could adjust?) as theres a tad slop in the pins in the hinge. Anyway I'm super stoked. This...

    OEM Kubota B series toplink

Second that ^ 25 bucks for a standard size and was a piece of cake to take a section out and weld it back together to make a shorter one for a first timer welder. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

    Tiller hookup

Had a win today!! Tilled the orchard to be. Took it super slow and steady. Took about 4 hours and then a hr more with the rake to level it the best i could. Started getting sloppy at the top and getting stuck in the mud so going to let it air out a bit before I dive back in again. Love how...

Anyone in Melbourne know who can fix this?

Hi guys, I have seen a few posts regarding how to bend a smile out of a bucket but mines got a few more bits that are beyond my capabilities. Is there anyone in Melbourne that would be able to straighten this for me. I know noone down here. There is a angle/peaked top inside the bucket thats...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I removed my tyre its only a few nuts and a little lifting, good to work em once in a blue moon so they dont sieze anyway. Made accessing it much easier as there wasnt much wiggle room with my FEL hoses running past the strainer. The strainer is about 120mm long and a PITA to thread back on if...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Takes a while doesnt it Niel! If the strainer is in the side with a metal pipe going though to it its a piece of cake. Two orings one on either side of the pipe. Mine were in good nick and i just cleaned out the strainer and wacked it back in no worries. However i will next time dump at least...

    Fuel filter sealing issues

Hahah well there you go NIW. The filter setups are different between the b1600 and the b8200. I assumed being the same motor they would be identical. So I ve basically converted mine to a b8200 setup now [emoji38] thanks for pointing out the spring idea. I think i do have one about perfect size...

    Brake shoes

Well shes all degreased, all fluids changed and joints all greased up. Runs harder than ever. It now revs up and possibly past the 3000rpm marker where i think its meant to be WOT at 2600. So i adjusted the gov screw to bring it back down to 2600. Wonder what made it so free? One thing i...

    Fuel filter sealing issues

Well heres the difference. The aftermarket ones (not all but some) have shallower internal flanges and smaller hole diameter. And are slightly taller than the one that came out of the tractor. The kubota ones have the second tightest hole but are even higher, but the flange suits the depth of...
