On the L260 there is no plug on the front of the camshaft but in the parts list it shows a sealing cap on the rear end of the camshaft.what is this cap for? Could that cause a loss of oil pressure? Oil pressure after starting is about 25 psi then drops under 20 and oil light starts flashing...

I am trying to get the hydraulic pump off of a L260 with the Z1300 engine so l can take the timing cover off. After taking the inlet and outlet off and the 4 mounting bolts the pump comes out about 1/4 inch and catches on something. What do I do now?
