    FORD DEATH WOBBLE

Does Ford give any spec's on how boxes should be mounted? Details? Was it a cross box or floor mounted chest? If it was bolted to the bed, was it just bolted through the aluminum or did it have backer bars or load plates? I certainly would think bolting a box to an aluminum bed floor would...

    FORD DEATH WOBBLE

I have a 2020 F250 and love it. However, I have had the truck lose some steering control if I hit some pot holes or washboard in a turn at speed. It seems to recover pretty quickly, but it certainly gets your attention. I'll probably look at some front end mods after I run out the warranty.

    Size pallet forks for L3901?

Related to this post, be very careful putting chains or slings to the forks. By twisting a fork, you risk it popping loose and you'd be in a world of hurt. It's not an approved lifting device and on job sites, OSHA would freak out for doing it. They actually make a lifting device that slides...

    Size pallet forks for L3901?

I bought a pallet fork/bale spear combo from Palletforks.com, I bought the 42" forks, similar to this model. forks and spear combo I say similar, because mine has bale stabilizers too (not sure you really need the stabilizers), which it looks like the current offering does not. The 2" receiver...

Check your crank case oil level. If it's grossly overfull, you could be running on oil.

    3pt Sprayer Recommendations (B2650, 5 acres)

I have 7 acres and have a 55 gallon sprayer. It came with a boomless nozzle setup, but I also built a boom for it. I can easily switch between them. For liquid fertilizer I typically use the boomless. When spraying for weeds, I typically use the boom (6' wide) You can make your own boom...

    L4400 Canopy help

Save yourself some trouble and buy a steel one from Wells Ag. I had a Femco and I thought it was rather flimsy and ended up replacing it with the steel one. I should have just used the "buy once, cry once" philosophy and went steel in the first place. Wells Ag

    l6060 operator presence switch

On my BX, I was able to make a jumper using a short piece of wire and two "male tab" crimp-on connectors. I just pulled the connector off the switch and stick the ends of the jumper into the connector. No wires to cut and it's reversible.

Another Safety Issue—- Seat Switch Deactivated?

On my BX, I have a jumper in the seat switch that I can insert/remove as needed. The seat switch is a PITA on a tractor that's primarily used for lawn mowing, but when I let my kids mow, I remove the jumper.

    L3901 code 0336

Sorry you're having issues, hopefully it's a simple fix. I'm so glad I bought a leftover L3800 rather than buy the new L3901 model at the time. Other than fixing the jerky 3-pt, I can't think of any improvement the new model has over the previous model, and a whole lot of downsides.

Advice needed for hydraulic line interferring with 3 point lift arm.

My L3800 is the same way. I did pinch a hose once, that caused a leak. I now use a short length of strap to keep it up out of the way when I don't have the backhoe on.

    3 Pt Aerator Weights

I poured my own weights for my aerator, using concrete. I made one for each side and cast a lifting eye in each, so I could lift them to install/remove. I think mine weigh 250# each. You could make 4 smaller ones or any combination/weight.

The only meaningful unbiased news source I've found is the Wall Street Journal. All the rest is some sort of propaganda or entertainment.

    L3800 lifting 1000lb bales

I have a L3800 with Titan attachments pallet forks/spear combo. I can load/unload from a trailer new 4 x 5 round bales, but 5 x 6 are typically too heavy and older 4 x 5's that are wet can be too heavy. In some cases, I can lift them, but only a few feet off the ground. My rears are loaded...

    Glock G40 10mm

I love 10mm's! I currently own 3 of them. A Dan Wesson CBOB, a Smith and Wesson 1076 and a EAA Match. Loaded to spec, a 10mm has a lot more punch then a .40 S&W. (BTW: for us 10mm fans, . 40 S&W stands for slow and weak:D) A Glock G40 would work fine for hunting, with range limitations, or...

    Clamp on pallet forks

I wouldn't buy clamp on's. You're better off converting your loader to SSQA (if it's not already) and get a quick attach type. I bought some forks from Titan that also has a bale spear and receiver hitch. I probably use my forks as much as my bucket.

    Backhoe bucket

Hokie is right. you make a smooth bottom trench by angling the bucket as you dig so the teeth run parallel to the bottom.

    Tufftop Canopy

Not sure about a 2650, but I had one on a L3800 with no issues with interference. I didn't have a lot of luck with my tufftop. I thought it was cheaply built and vibrated a lot. Mine eventually developed a split at one of the folds that would catch every little twig that brushed past...
