I pulled the c-clip out of the bottom of the hydraulic controls and I couldn't get the cap out? Is that how it comes apart or do I have to unscrew that tube?

I made a set of forks for my L3400HST to lift the 8ft square bails of hay. Total cost about $300.00. I took out factory 1" pins on bucket and replaced them with 1" standard farm pin with handle. Takes about 5 minutes to switch out bucket and forks.
