Ok, found out what the problem is. The front tires on this 1975 tractor were dry rotted so i replaced them. When i did i found the rims were all rusted up and extremely warped. Also, bearing on right front had failed. One bearing fromt he junk yard and two new wheels from Kubota have fixed...

Just did a bake job on same tractor as yours. If spring has strong pull the something has frozen up. Take the brake cover off and watch what happens when someone else pushed the brake pedal. If you need to free up something that has seized up, try a 50/50 mixture of fingernail polish remover...

can i do the tie rod check visually that with the tire on the ground or do i need to jack it up to check for slack?
