    The guy I got it from had pulled the geared shaft that the 3 pt arms hook to out of the assembly. This allowed the hydraulic piston and the the knuckle to fall down into the rearend case.     I have a L175 and the rear lift isn't working. When I use the lever to raise or lower the 3 pt I feel and hear chattering, but it does seem like it's trying to pump.     Hi Dusty, where is the filter? I do check the fluid on top of the case between seat & steering wheel right. Should the fluid be all the way up to the top? And where is the filter.Thanks for the help. This is all new to me, howeverI did rebuild the steering sector.
