So how often to grease the snow blower?

Depends on the season, like others said. Last year blower didn’t have 2 hours on it. Other winters it’s had 30. Needed or not, I’ll grease the auger if I’m doing other stuff.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just a little snow removal. Before I started, noticed the chute was hanging in a particular spot and wouldn’t rotate fully. A little investigation found one of the holder brackets was a little loose but didn’t cause it. Moved the chute by hand and found a small stone had gotten wedged between...

Not Sure What To Say !!

This made me laugh out loud. Many years ago my brother was home on leave from the US Army. New to the service, so he was doing a lot of firearms training. He'd talk about it a lot. We grew up with guns and hunting/shooting. I took him woodchuck hunting. Really had the Remington Model 700...

    What's next?

Whether 2016 or not, that’s astonishing if true. I’ve heard you can’t believe everything you read on the internet. Got a few $2 bills and $1 Silver Certificates somewhere. Have several flavors of the $1 coins.

    B2650 snowblower skid bolt sheared

You a going to need to loosen the other bolt and pull the shoe off and reinstall. The hole is round to accommodate the head of the bolt, with a slot that the bolt slides into.

    Front end loader issues bx2670

Just for giggles, put the 3 point hitch all the way down. You’re also complaining about some engine issues in another thread. What’s the service history of the tractor? Number of hours, last services, etc.?

BX2670 runs badly at high RPM

How much fuel is in the tractor? Less that 1/2 tank by the fuel gauge? (BX fuel gauges are notoriously inaccurate...) If so, fill it FULL and see if the same thing happens. A BX with a bad electric lift pump will run fine until tank gets low. Then runs poorly. Do you hear the Lift Pump...

    B2650 snowblower skid bolt sheared

It looks just like my BX2750D blower. I wouldn't worry about the bolt head falling into the abyss. Pretty sure they're just 1/4-20 carriage bolts at 1" +. I've replaced them several times and added nylock nuts and flat washers. Can get them anywhere for a couple bucks for 4 replacements...

    B2650 snowblower skid bolt sheared

Looks similar to my BX2750D snowblower. It likely is a carriage bolt. Did the head of the bolt fall into the housing? Might just replace with a new carriage bolt and call it good. Take another one out to get diameter, length, thread, etc. Personally, I don’t think you need to get a Kubota...

    Its a wonderful life !!!

A good thing is our daughters live Philadelphia PA (recently moved to Wilmington DE) and Santa Cruz CA. A normal stop in Philly was Reading Terminal. Former train station turned into a couple acres of food booths. Love that place. Butcher shops, seafood vendors, bakeries; great stuff. Santa...

    Its a wonderful life !!!

Never had a McRib. We don’t eat out much or get takeout, etc. We do have Chinese takeout New Years Day. Done it for years. When we travel to visit our kids we’re more apt to buy a bunch of higher-end ingredients at the store and cook at their homes. Last trip to CA I bought a grill from...

    At What Point.

@L35 brings up a good point. Part of your policy is property damage. Part is liability. Would want to consider the implications carefully about self insurance. 12 year old neighbor Jimmy breaks his leg on your property and his parents sue you for it. Absent insurance, you need to be prepared...

    At What Point.

Unfortunately we’re contending with a couple issues with property and automotive policies. I’m far from an expert. Just what I’ve been seeing in my research. My homeowners policy has gone up 40% last few years. Cost of building repairs and construction went up BIG during COVID. While...
