    What's cookin' boys?

Like @TheOldHokie said - I’ve used Bisquick in the past too….nothing wrong with that. I posted my buttermilk biscuit recipe here a while back. Starts with 66 cups of flour… You’re making stuff in a truck cab….my hat’s off to you…

    What's cookin' boys?

Yeah - couple weeks ago I mentioned @Shawn T. W and the great stuff he was making in his truck. I know people that can’t cook that well at home. 🥺 Those biscuits look pretty friggin good for a guy stranded in Atlanta…👍

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Mowed the lawn for the last time this year. Mower will come off and we’ll start to head towards winter ops with the snowblower and chains. Put the winter work lights back on. They don’t look like much but put out a lot of light. A couple 6” angle brackets I had on hand years ago.

    Assessing water in hydraulic oil

Several times I've seen citations here on OTT that a system can run ambient temperature + 100* F. So, under certain circumstances it potentially could evaporate water, but certainly not an efficient way to do it. I've seen recommendations to use diesel to flush a water contaminated sump...

    Old Movies

Got thinking about Charlton Heston - - he did several post-apocalyptic movies in the era - - some of my favorites but haven't seen most in a long time: Planet of the Apes - - (and 2(?) sequels - never saw the "modern" ones) Soylent Green The Omega Man - someone mentioned it earlier Clint...

    Old Movies

A real classic from years ago, just stumbled on Soylent Green with Charlton Heston, 1973. Don’t watch movies much, but will leave it on to listen….

John - - - realized I hadn't replied to this when I intended to. Tell you what - - the stuff you put out of that smoker is top-notch. Those ribs are a pefect example of some GREAT stuff.....(y) You're very good at it...... something to be proud of. Any commercial cooking I did was a LONG...

922,832 miles on F-350 Super Duty 6.7L used to deliver campers!

Not related, but had to link this article. I used to work with this person’s brother. https://www.motortrend.com/news/record-setting-1966-volvo-p1800-reaches-3-million-miles-246409 Well-documented, he ended up with 3.2 million miles on that Volvo. My brush with Greatness and...

BX2816 Snowblower Bare metal in the impeller housing

Working on a stone driveway, my BX2750D snowblower looks like that every spring. Been that way for 12 years. Same for my JD425 tractor and snowblower for 12 years before that…. I use the rattle can touch up. I don’t believe disassembly and sanding the blower is time well-spent. Will look...

    What's cookin' boys?

I nominate @Shawn T. W as the best cook in a pinch! 😋👍 He’s making great stuff in a tractor cab. I couldn’t do that….. Have a lot of respect for drivers like Shawn, and what they have to do for their jobs on a daily basis. My hat’s off!! 👍

    A new ride

Wolfman - just curiosity; what’s the curb weight of the new Cadillac? SIL was looking at some light-duty EV pickup trucks a while back. Was surprised how much they weighed before payload (8k +/-?). Like I said before, my friend loves his hybrid, and he’s honestly the LAST guy you would think...

    What's cookin' boys?

Dan - - - that looks fantastic! 😋 I don't use recipes much. Sometimes the best meals I come up with is just clearing out stuff that needs to be used.....

    What's cookin' boys?

John - - those look SO good!! Those look perfect.....I'm not a fan of "fall-off-the-bone." I like just a little al dente....just a little. 40+ years ago, I used to do 40-50(?) racks for 400 +/- snow skiers every Saturday night during the winter. Packaged Snow Ski Tours often filled the 150...

    Daily Chuckle

I always knew a crick was something less than a river ….. I knew of the term creek, but figured they flowed through higher-rent districts than our rural farm acreage…🥺 I thought I could catch better brook trout in a crick….😳 Hey - trout I caught were supper…😋

    A new ride

Looks like a great ride. The Mrs. looks happy, and that’s all that matters. A friend readily admits his 2016(?) Chevy Volt hybrid is the best car he’s ever had. He was a service manager for a GM dealership for years. Was a tech for decades. Has several great GM classics. A guy you would...

Help me Shift L3710 out of 4WD

Gosh - don’t know a L3710, but that sounds more like a differential lock than a 4WD lever…… Any 2/4WD shifter levers I know of aren’t near your feet…😳 Any I’ve used have been on/near a fender for hand control.
