Chevelle, my manual says it's a speed set lever. There is a decal that shows a lock and arrows to the front wheels and an arrow to the back wheels. I've not used it yet.

Bought my L3710 last May at 68. Should have done this many, many years ago and should retired back than too. LOL.

Not a guru, but have experienced this sound with an out of balance wheel, or bad shock. Could be the wear bar on a tire, this happened on wife's car. Had this sound with a wheel bearing on my truck once also. Good luck & keep us posted so we can learn too. Thanks, Gary.
