    A truck and trailer thread.

I was going to hold off on this suggestion until I heard back from you on tightening the lug nuts. Now I am wondering if it could be one of the brake calipers.

I'm confident I have Gelled Fuel

It was definitely gelled fuel. The additive you used was not entirely effective as an anti-gel. Try using Power Service next time. It works. I used it in -30 degree weather and never had a problem. Use the white bottle in winter and follow the directions. As for your gelled fuel, no need to dump...

I'm confident I have Gelled Fuel

I use Power Service products because they work. For winter use the white bottle. Check out their other products too. I noticed that they have a new product called Diesel Flush. I intend to try that one soon. BTW, you can get these at Walmart...

Fight over shoveling and parking spot leads to standoff in Delaware, police say

Reporters don't know how to report news anymore. There is nothing about how the fight started. Just an argument over shoveling and a parking space? What was the beef? Worthless reporting. They may as well just said man arrested and charged with ....

That is probably why all of the Wisconsin cars are rust buckets in 10 years or less.

Anyone enjoying consecutive days and nights of too cold weather?

When I read mule, I was thinking about an animal, not the motorized version.

    A truck and trailer thread.

It sounds very much like the slop in the brake disks are at fault. I am thinking that you were given the wrong brake disks when you replaced them. Did you replace the old ones because they were compromised or was the reason just because you were in there already? If you still have the old disks...

    Daily Chuckle

Actually, I have been in a few countries where that is the norm. Septic systems will go almost forever without maintenance if nothing but human waste is flushed down. No paper, no garbage disposal, nothing but pee and poop.

You might try backing up and braking hard. Then try going forward again and braking a little hard and see if the thump happens again. My theory is that if the thump can be replicated in this manner that the slop in the disk is probably causing the thump. I think it is worth a try anyway. What...

How long should a tractor last?

I don't care how long it last as long as it lasts one day longer than I am on this earth. After that, it is someone else's joy or sorrow. I have about 2000 hours on it now and I honestly think that it should last at least 10,000 hours before anything major goes wrong with it.

If you were "fast as lightning" you would have beat me to it! But that would have been a little bit frightening, and you would have needed expert timing.

How long did your battery last?

Actually, I don't consider 12+ years as bad for battery longevity, especially since I never did anything to try to maintain it. I never put it on a charger or maintainer. The only thing I did was spray WD-40 on the terminals whenever I had the grill off, and that was not often.

How long did your battery last?

I know this is an old thread but since I am the one that started it I think I can revive it. My battery finally went dead today. It lasted 12 years and 10 months. I bought a new one from O'Reilly's auto parts for $118.25 after the 10% Military discount The battery I bought is linked below. I...

    Azomite or rock dust

I actually bought one very similar to this link a few years ago. It is not the same brand but it mounts on a 2" receiver like the link below. I cannot personally vouch for DR equipment but I have a friend that is happy with his. The one I bought about 5 years ago is no longer shown on the...

    Digital Passport Picture

You may want to do that very soon. Some Countries do not accept passports that expire within 6 months. Also, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get your new passport in the mail. If you apply online, your current passport is voided immediately, regardless of the expiration date so if you plan to travel...

    Digital Passport Picture

I actually just applied for my passport renewal yesterday. I used my smartphone to take my selfie and I did not have a problem. The first photo that I took was rejected but the second one that I took was acceptable. When you upload your picture online the picture is either accepted or rejected...
