My Display mode switch quit working om my L4330. Travel switch still works so I removed the switch and checked continuity and sure enough the mode switch was bad. $100+ for the switch. Over $200 at some places. It's a sealed unit so I dug out the potting gel and replaced the switches with $.49...

Has anyone replaced a OEM fuel level sensor with a stainless reed type sensor? My L4330 fuel sensor has been intermittent for while. Thinking of replacing but the OEM replacement part cost makes me think of just using a stick. The reed type sensors are only about $40.
