Automotive Museum and Member Classics...What We Do For Fun.

I looked at the lineup - - WOW! 😲 Lot of different vehicles - - European and American.

    Visual of oil viscosity

I had only heard of 6.2l issues generically - - no details. Looked it up today after seeing your reply. Sounds like root cause gets back to the 0w-20 motor oil and AFM. Heard of similar problems with earlier 5.3's but not to the extent they're seeing with the 2021-2024 6.2's. Right or...

    BX owners, chime in

I think a 60" MMM is almost 300#, and of course very low to the ground. Does help a lot......

    oil for MX6000

Dan - - In the past you and others have often offered some good alternatives for gear-driven tractors. No need to re-state them in this context. A tangent; I use my tractor for snowblower work (oftentimes more than I want). You mention 5w-40 motor oil. I converted to Rotella T6 5w-40...

That's awesome @armylifer! Like @GrumpyFarmer, I'm a little torn on the re-purpose...... ;) Many years ago, I ran a Catering/Clambake/Company Picnic, etc. business. There were times I had the box of my little Ranger pickup full of those......don't recall exactly, but think I could fit 10...

    oil for MX6000

Dan - generally, in your mind does an HST tip the scales toward the benefit of SUDT2? Earlier in the thread you mentioned that a geared tractor probably isn’t worthy of the premium for SUDT2. That has been my lay-persons understanding as well. My 12 year old BX is an HST of course. Never...

    BX owners, chime in

With either my box blade or carry-all, I'm probably in the 250-300# range. I'll put something on the carry-all if needed, but only needed that a couple times.

    Hey, Dummy

Chim - a while back I mixed up the two connections on my snowblower. Don’t remember what I screwed up, but I did. It happens….

    What's cookin' boys?

From my perspective, you made a perfect lasagna. Bet it tasted fantastic and that’s all that matters. Soppressata is another topic and favorite here also…..😉 Love that stuff…

Need a picture from someone with a T2290 KWT

You just joined OTT yesterday and got some great information quickly. Lots of great folks here, and @NCL4701 is one of them. Great owner, moderators and members. For a few dollars, you can become a lifetime member and help make sure the next guy has a similar experience. Get...

    What's cookin' boys?

I prefer a lasagna that’s not too dry. Especially a meat lasagna. For me, that looks perfect. Sounds like you got everything right to me. Maybe a little heavy on the sauce and cut when a little too hot? Any Parmesan or Romano in it? Not a deal-breaker by any means. I’ve mixed in the...

A simple attachment for direct burial cable?

I recall some subsoilers have a center beam which is quite long. Can be a problem for small subcompact tractors, as the 3 point hitch won’t lift the point enough to get it out of the ground, or very little clearance. Remember it more with BX tractors, but something to look at for your B2650...

    What's cookin' boys?

I should note that I seldom use skewers for this kind of thing. I want the beef rare/med rare and the peppers cooked through.

    What's cookin' boys?

Not cooking, but stopped at an Amish grocery today. First time there for me. We often visit another one. Got some Liverwurst. Every once in a while I like it in a sandwich.... 😋 Don't see it much anymore. Probably haven’t had any in 5+ years. Today is curry-marinated beef (sirloin and...

    Difference between models

The LX are a little smaller-framed than your L. The LX series were derived from some of the larger "B" models, and the LX series has expanded to include more models/horsepower options over time. This Kubota USA web page gives you some idea how they compare. Kubota | Sub-compact...

I haven’t a clue what Veal Schnitzel Zurich style is, but it sure looks great! That Zurich style Hash Browns to go with it? I love venison…..that all looks super.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Jon - true. For a while we had few Belgians and Percherons in the barn. I was young, and they’d look for me each day when I came down to check on them and do chores. Spent a lot of time with them. They’d complain when I left. Doesn’t get any sweeter.

If you get a couple big ones, stuffed zucchini with sausage is a good treat. Never thought them to freeze well. Make hay when the sun shines....
