    M7040 Pto light on.No start.

    After obtaining an electrical schematic and studying the start sequence, I found a 5 amp fuse blown. Replaced the fuse and that solved the PTO light problem of staying on all the time. Still would not start and turned out to be a bad start relay.

    Is the pto relay in the console where the ignition switch is? I am positive the pto switch is good. Thanks

    An M7040 has a PTO light on whenever the ignition switch is on. I have taken the pto lever assembly off and cleaned the debris out and checked it with an ohmmeter. The switch checks good electrically and mechanically. I do not have an electrical schematic to further diagnose. The wires,as far as...
