The valves JD uses are that way too, some models even have a lockout lever to keep you out of the regen mode.

Help Me Understand Hydraulics: BX2200 and LA211 Loader

"Regen" is why the motor will only turn one direction, that model has a 3-way valve. Some good reading: http://orangetractortalks.com/forums/search/4242624/?q=regen&c[users]=Kennyd4110&o=date

    Which FEL circuit to divert

The "B" series valves are generally 4-way, so you can use the dump/curl circuit. The "L" series are usually only 3-way (regen only) valves.

    grapple quit working

Your speaking of regen or the "regenerative" feature of a valve. That's pretty rare on a rear remote unless its some type of joystick valve intended for FEL use. We sell a small bottle of sealant on our website, but Permatex and Loctite both make products intended for high pressure hydraulic use.

Top Link Valve not acting correctly?

Have you tried the non-floating spool? It sounds like there is regen active messing you up, but the description does not mention this valve having regen. https://www.surpluscenter.com/Hydraulics/Hydraulic-Valves/Directional-Control-Valves/2-Spool-8-GPM-Prince-MB21GB5C1-DA-Valve-w-Float-9-7862-F.axd

Yes, pretty good bunch of guys here for sure! Read post's #3 and #4 in this thread, it explains Regen pretty well. I had though I made a thread on it but I couldn't find it. I'll have to work on that. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12444&highlight=regen...

...is set to protect the system components. Going into “relief” is just normal operation when using a loader. The air may be coming from the “regen” circuit, do a search here on the forum for that term for some reading about it. Sorry I can link now, I have limited access as I’m not home...

hydraulic angle control on snow blade

I believe all the "L" models have 3-way valves, thus regen is active 100% of the time. Why Kubota (and JD on models) are doing this is beyond me, but it's putting the screws to a lot of people.

Need hyd valve diagnosis help B7500

Welcome to OTT, Your problem is a common one, it's called "regen" or the "regenerative" function of the some, AKA "fast dump". Some older kub machine only had 3-way valves and can't operate plows or chute rotator. Hopefully for your friend pushing the joystick harder to the right will work...

    loader problem

It's not really a problem, it's a "feature" called regen or fast dump. Read this thread for good explanation: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12444&highlight=regen Swapping hoses won't help in this case Wolfy;)

Hydraulic problem, Bucket stick left gets fluid from both hoses???

I replied to your post over at MTF, as I wrote there is sounds like you are seeing the regenerative function of the valve. But what doesn't make sense is it should be the opposite of what you wrote, fluid from both hoses when dumping or stick right. Here's a good thread to read...

    Hydraulic SSQA Plow Troubles

Check out this thread, particularly post #3 and #4, I believe the regen function of your valve is causing your issue, although generally that only affects movement one way and not both. A search of the term "regen" will turn up more info here and on other forums as well...
