After being worked on, the hst pedal does not return to neutral when released. Thanks for your help

The pin for the yoke of the front wheel drive at the hst has broken twice. It seems to bind when I do a short turn. There is slope, wear, on the splines. Is this what is causing the binding or could it be something else? I do have the bi-turn engaged. TIA

There is a u-joint on the right side of the HST that has disconnected. I assume this is for the front wheel drive? I cannot re-connect from the top as it seems there is not enough room. Can this be done by coming in from the bottom once the belly mower is removed?

Messed around with the u-joint that was not attached. Got it out of the way and now HST is working. (Maybe had the HST shaft in a bind so it would not turn?) My new question, I cannot re-connect this u-joint from the top. Can it be done by coming up from the bottom? I have a belly mower so I...

The yoke looked like it was coming from the front so I assumed it was for the front wheel drive. How can I tell if the propeller shaft going into the HST is disconnected? As you can tell not mechanical at all.

Heard a banging noise at the foot peddle location. Removed bolt on HST peddle and tried to remove but could not. Removed top cover and saw front wheel drive u-joint disconnected and was the noise problem but now the tractor will not go forward or back 2 or 4 wheel. The HST will not engage. Any...
