Thanks for your reply Mike :) All is much clearer now, indeed the drag link ends are one piece with the link. I did just check the centre axle pivot bolt, but no play at all. I think my way forward is to get a tie rod end and weld it onto the drag link - at £40 it is worth a try. Thanks again, Phil
