    No free play in clutch

Going to take a long look at it this weekend and decide if I'm up to the job. I feel it would be best to have a hard flat surface, that I will not have at the farm. I think the preasure plate is still in contact with the clutch so I don't think it's safe to drive it very far. About a mile to...

    No free play in clutch

Thanks for the reply's fellows, and that's what I was afraid of. I guess the next step is to dig into it, and decide if it's best to go with a all new clutch or rebuild. I'm not sure I have the time or expertiece for this job. Tractor is 2 hours from my home and I'm only there 2 to 3 days a...

Two of the short hydraulic hoses on the front of my FEL are leaking around the fittings. One nice size drip about every 5 mins. Should I go ahead and change them out or just keep an eye on the fluid level and keep going. I would also like to know if all the fittings are the same size and would I...

What kind & weight go in rear chunk

GWD, thanks for the information. I will stop by the local Kubota dealer tomorrow and pick up some hydraulic fluid. I did not see any lines in the window and it just looked like a white background. I did look again and the fluid is at the very bottom of the window just hard to see. Thanks again

What kind & weight go in rear chunk

L4310D 4WD: Sorry to ask such a dumb question but I'm new to tractors and I don't have a Op manual. On the rear chuck ( not sure what its called but it has the small glass window ) above where the pto is has the window to check fluid. Do you check the level when the tractor is running or off and...

    4WD lever location

Hi all, New to the site and new to being a tractor owner. I have a new to me L4310D 4WD with a loader. It's a 1999 with 1400 hrs but in very good shape. The question I have is the 4WD on/off lever is on the lower left hand side and the stickers have peeled off showing in or out of 4WD. The...
