    Billy Goat leaf blower Question

Yes, I know, but I have looked even with a small flashlight but can't see one. I'm expecting to see one of those small 1/2 or 3/8 screw out bolt like the gear drain plug has. Vanguard engine 14HP Mine is the 14hp Vanguard engine.

I am sorry I didn't elaborate on which engine it is. It is the Vanguard engine. I know there has to be a drain plug there somewhere.

    Billy Goat leaf blower Question

The other day I bought a used 14 hp Billy Goat blower, and it is in fine shape. Of course I won't be using it for awhile, as it is full time winter in Maine now. But I wanted to service it for when I will use it. I have a unique problem. I can see where the engine gear oil get filled and...

Leaf blower tractor, 3 pt hitch.

I had looked at this, but it was being sold by EA attachments, and to my understanding they had gone out of business, and many who had ordered got stung. I don't think this would work for me as I have a BX1880 and I don't think the PTO power is enough. I also prefer a gasoline run blower. I...

Leaf blower for 3 pt hitch

I am utterly frustrated. I just turned 82 in October and am finding out that having a backpack blower to clear my lawn of a lot of oak leaves. The job is getting hard for this old man. I have to clear the yard multiple times each year. in 2016 I purchased a Dr Leaf vacuum that helps, but even...

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

I purchased the HF fuel transfer pump that uses 2 D cell batteries. It works fantastic, and only cost about 10 dollars. I hate lifting that 5 gallon can. If you are younger I'm sure you don't mind it, but I'm 82 now and hate it.

Leaf blower tractor, 3 pt hitch.

I know this may sound redundant, but I have been searching for 3 pt mounted leaf blower. Currently I am in my mid 80's, and leaf blowing with a back pack or walk behind is something that exhaust me. i have been searching online for something that could hook up to my 3 pt hit, and let the...

BX2822A 55" Commercial Snow Blower - What is the HYDRUALIC deflector configuration WITHOUT 3rd function setup

That is pretty simple, you have the snowblower hydraulics hooked up to the white and yellow, and the added 2818a hydraulic to the red and blue. Then it all works thru the joystick like having a front loader on.

    Snowblower rotator BX2819

I currently have the BX2816 and the BX2819 (Seems to be rare) is an electric rotator for the snowblower. I have checked and there is only one place I can order it. It currently cost close to $450 dollars so I don't want to just jump. I want to know if anyone else has the rotator, and if they...

any have a snowblower setup on a BX1880?

I kept my eye on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace, and bought a used one in near perfect condition for 3 thousand even. I was able to purchase it because the original owner failed to lower the side shoes and was plowing a stone driveway, and was shearing pins. I have a tarred drive, and it...

Adding Quick couplers for FEL attachments.

Now, I like that idea on the hoses, and the QC, as I have that for my snowblower. Nice if I could use the QC for some other implement. The best thing is it frees up two hyd lines for other functions.

    Rodents / mice / chipmunks

When my tractor is sitting in its shed, I put a couple of bags of Moth balls under the hood. 1 on top of the radiator, and another toward the front. Never a rodent. Even spiders hate moth balls. They are cheap too.

    Need Bridge (deck) input

I was just about to say, if he were in a snowmobile club he would have no problem knowing how to do a bridge. We drive a lot of heavy groomers, etc across our bridges.

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

I have the T6 5W40 in my tractor as well, and in my area which is cold, my tractor starts very easy with this oil. I plan on an oil change once every fall, and it will again be the T6. I like it.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

A rear facing blower is a cheaper option, but in my case I am too old and cannot tolerate turning my head like an owl for long. So with me it was a front snowblower or stick with my trucks snowplow. I bought my snowblower for my 1880 off Facebooks Marketplace for 3k about half what the new...
