Adjusting the hood on a BX?

Any way to adjust the hood on a BX? On my 2670 the left side of the hood is higher than the right side (which is in the correct position when shut) so the left side vibrates when the tractor is running.

    BX2670 Positive Battery Cable Length?

The positive cable end o my BX2670 failed so I replaced it but now the cable is really too short. Does anyone know the length of the OEM cable? I'll buy a longer one but was trying to get the length before pulling the old one off.
