Auger for B7200 - too much?

36" Should be okay, but I just realized I was actually looking at the Compact tractor kit which comes standard with 48" bits. The added appeal of that is I can always keep the auger if I sell the 7200. Thanks for the tip.... I'll call and double check their inventory before ordering. (y)

Auger for B7200 - too much?

You make a good point about the engine size. This would be the first attachment I've run off the PTO, I'm sure it's plenty strong but I just haven't experienced it yet. The biggest issue I've seen is not having enough lift force to pull the auger from the ground. It seems the hole auger bit...

Auger for B7200 - too much?

Hey all, I'm looking for feedback/advice about utilizing an auger attachment on my B7200. My main concern.... can it handle it? EA claims to have a better designed auger for sub-compact and compact tractors that allows the proper leverage to pull the auger up from the ground after digging...

    3PH Drooping

So I started with a scotch brite, and ended up using a bristle brush on a right angle grinder/sander to clean up the deep grooves on the cylinder and piston. It didn't "remove" them but it did help smooth them out. I've now had the 3PH raised up for hours without it drooping down at all, the...

    3PH Drooping

Thats a good idea, I'll give that a shot later this morning! I already noticed a much more positive engagement pushing the piston back in by hand yesterday... makes sense seeing as the old O ring had completely flatened out. I hope you're right and this is all I need. Thanks again

    3PH Drooping

Sooooo.... not the greatest of news. The cylinder and the piston are scored. That being said I was surprised the piston head popped out while moving the 3PH lever back and forth by hand... it appears to just he friction kept Anyways, I decided to replace all of those seals - they were cheap...

    Need Help: Sizing Tilt Cylinder

I appreciate the explanation, I'd never thought of it that way. Thank you! So no matter what it definitely sounds like the control valve is leaking. I guess I need to determine if the leak-down is too much to deal with... Sounds like I will end up replacing it sooner or later.

    Need Help: Sizing Tilt Cylinder

Why is it that the loader arms can't cause leak down? I would have thought the properties of the lift and tilt cylinders would be the same...? Do control valves "wear out" or is that based upon how the valve is manufactured in the first place? I haven't even looked at what they can cost, but...

    Need Help: Sizing Tilt Cylinder

In my excitement to get the new bucket and cylinder installed I forgot to perform the test on the old cylinder. I just painted the bucket a couple of days ago and haven't had a chance to really test it out yet. I do suspect I have some leak-by at the hydraulic control. I left loaded suspended a...

    3PH Drooping

All is good, I ended up reading through the entire thread just out of interest. So - thank you! I just ordered $30 in misc gaskets, O-rings, and seals, should have them at some point next week. The seals for the cylinder were cheap so I went ahead and ordered those to... though I plan to start...

    3PH Drooping

From what I've seen so far I tend to agree. The issue with mine does seem different. If you have any input off of what you saw in the WSM I'm all ears, you certainly seem to know your stuff when it comes to hydraulic systems.

    3PH Drooping

Yea, I don't want to throw a ton of money at it for no good reason. I'm with you on starting simple.... Funny enough the fella in the link Russell King posted definitely has a loader from the same company I got one from. I did a write up on that a while back - wonder if he found the company...

    3PH Drooping

I actually re-downloaded the service and parts manuals earlier today. I didn't have a chance to look to closely at them yet. I appreciate your help Dan

    3PH Drooping

Clear as mud is a great way to describe it. Lol So it seems likely cylinder seal(s) are leaking by... I'll have to take off the top cover to verify of thats the case. Are there any adjustable points (other than the control valve) for the 3PH? At this point it definitely sounds like leak down...

    3PH Drooping

Kinda sorta.... The control lever doesn't "oscillate", it more so "drops down" a peg at at time. But I understand what you mean about the leakdown and the valve opening... My question is, why? What is the "other side" you are referring to, something internally with the lever? Also - when...

    3PH Drooping

Hey Dan, I posted a video on YouTube. It covers both test methods. The hitch seems to hold if I keep the lever steady, but the entire time it holds the system groans/whines. Compared to other tractors I've seen that isn't normal, or maybe not as noticeable. The system definitely bleeds...

    3PH Drooping

For the last year or so I've had a ballast box mounted to the 3PH. Not a ton of weight in it, mostly used to carry extra equipment around.... Done as instructed the 3PH ends up hitting the ground in less than a minute. Probably closer to 30 seconds if I got a more accurate time.

    3PH Drooping

Afternoon Folks, I'm working at addressing a few issues with my B7200HST tractor. My knowledge of hydraulics and tractor mechanics in general is limited, so I would greatly appreciate some guidance. My main cause of concern at this point is my 3PH. It works, but only if I continue to bump up...
