L4760 Engine RPM and PTO RPM

Thanks. I think part of the issue here is I can't read a tach, lol

L4760 Engine RPM and PTO RPM

This helps so I know I should be seeing 540 with no load. My wide open throttle would be over 3,000 rpm---my rated rev is only 2,600 rpm--maybe my engine rpm tach is off?

L4760 Engine RPM and PTO RPM

Well...loaded the WSM and verified the PTO setting is correct, so its got to be something else. Lead service tech is supposed to come out to house this week or next to check some grinding sound/feel while driving across slopes, so I will have him look into it further.

    Grind Sound/Feel Under Feet

Took loader off and still does it. Had dealer test drive. They think everything is fine--just normal noises. I am going to put more hours on it and keep looking around for cause. Tractor works fine, just the random noise and scratching. Figure it will get worse if an issue, or hopefully...

    Grind Sound/Feel Under Feet

Proud new owner of L4760HSTC. I have 42 lite hours on her. This past weekend, an intermittent grinding/scratching sound began while going back and forth packing down minor dirt work. I feel it through the pedal and it sounds like its coming directly beneath feet. At first I thought it was...
