    L6060 Clutch Alignment

Hi everyone, I am replacing the engine on an L6060. I am just starting to put things together and may have found an issue. According the the WSM, the clutch coupling needs to be centered using a centering tool. I am used to doing this for pilot bearings on cars, but there is no pilot bearing on...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

So I tore into things last night. It turns out that the feedback linkage was the issue. There is a little tab that connects to the feedback linkage to the control valve inside the case, and that was not connected. Once everything was opened up, it was a really easy fix. Im not sure how this...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Hey everyone, just wanting to Keep people in the loop. Sorry for taking so long, but life gets in the way! I took the safety valve out…no oil… so in we go!

Okay, so if I understand correctly, remove safety valve - If oil flows out when raising the three point, I have a bad cylinder seal. If oil does not flow out of it, then I have a bad control valve. makes sense!

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

So I looked through the wsm today. From the troubleshooting chart, it looks like I have a control valve problem. as far as the drop speed control knob goes, I have adjusted it, but it should have no effect on the lift arms going up. I will look into the safety valve on my way into the three...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Okay, ya I don’t think I’ll be smacking it. I just ran it hard moving piles of snow and ice for about 45 minutes, no change. I’ll continue doing that for now. perhaps we change gears into discussing the tear down. I looked at it tonight, and it doesn’t look as bad as I thought. It appears that...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

I think that’s where we’re at. I can see parts inside the case moving with the linkage, so that really verifies that the linkage is working properly. Opened and closed the drop valve a bunch with the tractor running, no change. So stuck sounds about right. Also, as I mentioned in my first post...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

So, I got a chance to look again. Still nothing jumps out at me. No obvious valve that disables the three point, topped off fluid with about 2 qts of kubota hyd fluid, and linkages look good. I also disconnected the loop while running and tractor bogged down, so I immediately shut it off. But...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

I assume you mean connecting the male and female hoses that run the backhoe? I did connect those.

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Well that’s some great info! I’ll check that tonight too. Hopefully that’s it! Based on everything that’s has been discussed, this seems most likely, as I have looked at everything else. Of course, I could have missed something when I was looking as the linkages, but I’m going to keep my fingers...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

I realize that now, so I’m a little less concerned, but only slightly. When I picked up hydraulic fluid this morning at the dealer, I felt the 3pts on a few tractors and they felt the same

I don’t have the manual unfortunately, but the backhoe ran just fine, so I would think that there is fluid going through the lines.

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

That knob only controls the implement drop speed as far as I know. I’ll quadruple check that it is open, but I can’t imagine that’s the issue. As far as linkages being connected, I looked at them all last night and they looked like they were all doing their job properly. I will recheck this...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Sounds like I have some chores for tonight! I also picked up some hydraulic fluid. I forgot to mention that the fluid was a little low. It’s still on the dip stick, but I’m going to make sure it’s full just to check that box.

Okay, I’ll do that tonight. And I’ll see if I can get some decent photos too

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

how do i confirm that other than by using the loader?

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

That’s what I thought, seems like the 3pt should at least give me slow movement if the seal is bad. And I did loop them, those are the connections that I cleaned. I will double check tonight. The loader is working correctly without the backhoe, and I am not familiar with the draft control...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Hokie, good to hear that the lift arm movement is normal, that’s a bit reassuring. BAP, is there a way to mess up the hydraulic lines? From my experience with other Kubota’s, it’s always pretty idiot proof. Like I said, I even cleaned the fitting and I pushed and pulled after they were...

    B26 3 Point Hitch Broken?

Based on this image, I can imagine that it could be as simple as the pin 060 having broken, or the part 050 having broken. here is the link in case anyone else wants to see the diagram. https://shop.kubotausa.com/oemparts/a/kub/60a316ca87a866105438f07a/j31000-hydraulic-piston-lift-arm
