    My gut says I need a longer bolt that when I screw it in, it bottoms out on the shaft thus pushing the shear plate off the shaft... putting a puller on the bolt screwed in on the same shear plate doesn’t seem like that would do anything because it’s not pushing against the shaft.

    I am attempting to remove the fan from a l2052-1 snowblower...does anyone have detailed guidance on what type of puller or device to use to release the fan adapter shear plate from the shaft? I see some threads in the shaft but before I damage anything, looking for advice. Thanks
