I am having trouble finding the 40A slow blow fuse. It's
not in the manual. Only some vague wording that says near the starter or positive battery post. The dealer service department verified it's a 40A fuse and not a fusible link. Anyone have any photos? Thanks!

Look for a green cartridge fuse - probably inline.

I looked at the Z232 diagrams and I don't see a 40 amp fuse???
25 Amp is the largest fuse I see.

I found this in the harness and taped up. Doesn't seem like any fuse I have ever seen. open on one direction and 2.1 M ohm on the other.

That's right. the manual doesn't include the complete wiring schematic.

That should be a diode.
Ok now things are getting even odder.
The schematic doesn't show that either.

Give me the serial number of the mower if you would, and maybe we can get to the bottom of this.

And what is the problem with the mower?

Thanks! I'm at work so the serial number will have to wait. It's only 3 years old, if that helps. The problem is no crank. The battery is charged and I checked all the safety switches. It did this about a year ago, and I took it to the dealer. They charged me several hundred dollars and said they replaced a fuse. I thought that was BS at the time because I had checked every fuse in the block. I wasn't aware there was a hidden one. Is there a better service manual or maybe a complete schematic?
