I have the 2 cords I bought stacked on the south side of my garage in the sun and it's ready to burn now.

Moving another 2 cords I cut up on my porch now. Should be good until beginning of March with this. Have about 20 more face cords of ash in the woods I am cutting now. Just bought the bigger Milwaukee 20 inch battery saw to try and I love it. No more gas required.

Looking good. By my rudimentary math, I should have around 5 and a half to almost 6 cords split and stacked on hand. Last year we went through about 4+, and I only needed a small top-off of the propane tank from its initial summer fill. And that was more playing it safe with a big snowstorm coming, in case I had to be away from the house for a while helping at work.

What stove do you have? I run an older Fisher insert. Works great and will eat a 30" log, but it's a hungry stove. Thinking of changing it out next year to a Jotul. I also miss not being able to see the fire like I could in the fireplace.

I love my Milwaukee battery tools, I have the original M18 saw, thinking of picking up the new one too. I still use gas saws here and there, but always been impressed with the M18 stuff.

Yep, and today is the day. Snowblower won’t go on just yet. Chains will go on next week or two. Do some service, motor oil change, etc.

if you’ve ever put tire chains on in the snow or really cold weather, you know why I put them on early. Much easier when it’s 50-60 degrees F. 🤔

I still have almost two months of cutting left here. I'll be putting the chute blocker and mulching blades on the Scag in the next week or so. Leaves are just starting to change, the Dogwoods are falling. The acorns are dropping like crazy, though.

We have an old Jotul Oslo that has heated our house for about 15 years. No pollution stuff on it and basically been trouble free. Really nice having the window. Only time it has struggled is with the 20 below windchills in February because our great room is surrounded in large glass windows that have lost their seals. We are still on the same 250 gallon tank of fuel oil down to almost half from when was last filled the year the woodstove was installed. Home Depot has a good deal of the day again today on the saw 🤔.

Yeah, mowing season is longer for some.

I don’t like to get behind with tractor, pellet stove, etc.

I’m always using the L for something, but actually remembered to take a quick shot today. Moving the lift around the property for different projects.

Got out and mowed today since we are possibly getting rain from the storm remnants Sunday. Grabbed a stick, set the tunes to 70’s rock and was able to get the entire yard done. First time since July it was dry enough. Now time to trim back all the trees along my trails.

Some more time using the tractor today rather than making bits for it. We call it a rotary hoe, most of you call it a tiller....anyway, I put this heavy green thing behind the tractor to get some areas ready for planting. Hopefully it will end up looking more like garden and less like dirt.

I'm still amazed at what can be done with this small tractor.

The blades are quite worn, but it still seems to work pretty well.

Used the L3901DT yesterday to do some really heavy lifting. Put four 40# of salt from the back of the truck and took it around to the basement overhead door. At least it was some seat time on the tractor.
