What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got the 1700 lubed up, a stick lit and off to airboat. We got .6” yesterday and it is all still on top of the ground.

I used the rear blade and land plane for a couple of projects today. I knew how useful the top link was but this was the first time using the hydraulic side link. What a great combination and well worth the money if you do any amount of dirt work. The ease of instant adjustments on the fly makes the job go a lot smoother.

Finished 170 feet of well access driveway with top layer of stone dust. Total of 110 tons crushed aggregate: 3 inch dense grade, 1.5 inch hard pack, 3/8 hardpack, dust over geotextile. Compacted in between lifts. Good rain overnight so can do final compacting today. Well driller came by, liked it but wants more stone down for the last additional 100 feet. That section is where house will be built so didn't want to waste money/time on stone and then just have to dig it up, but... oh well. Pun intended. Pics later. View attachment 179306

Yesterday afternoon I connected the flail mower that I've been building to the front of our little B7200 to give the mower its first test. Really happy with how it cut, but there are things still to be done to finish it and some things that still need changes.

A little more mowing today to finish what I didn't get done yesterday, then used the loader for fill the trailer to take to the tip (maybe it's called a dump in the US ?). Finished by using the forks to bring a crate load of firewood down to the house from the woodshed - hopefully this will be the last until next winter.

Interesting (assuming you’re being serious). Ours also has a 2 on it but I had no idea that’s what it meant. We actually used it when I was a kid to call people back to the house. It could be heard a LONG way away in a pretty noisy environment.

We needed a small concrete pad for the installation of some batteries that's happening soon. Even though it's only small, this is a lot easier than pushing the mixer around by hand.
