Gasoline is about $4.00.

Just returned from Philip SD, for a “Prairie Dog whacking session”…..

The lady at the counter thought I had fallen asleep while filling up, when the pump suddenly stopped at $376.12 (for 80 gallons). (4.70/gallon)

Murphy's Law - I will always run out of diesel when the price per gallon is at it's highest!

Just paid $5.899 / gallon - up another $0.10 in a week. Thank goodness I don't need 100's of gallons at a time. National average is $6.06. Wish I could get "off-road" pricing in my area.

Below is a picture of the price of gas at a major water slide tourist trap in the Adirondacks Aug 24.
Diesel was almost $7.
How is that even legal?

Just was in the city this am and road diesel has went from $5.60 a gallon to $6.00 since I was in the city Monday. gas is still around four dollars to four ten. I am glad I bought all my fuel for the farm in Dec last year.

yup, diesel here $2.54.9 per liter aka $7 per USG after all the conversions. here in southern Ontario.
kind of a shame we don't have any oil under our feet and have to import it all....

That's exactly the same price I saw for diesel at the local Love's a few days ago! In December it was $2.73 a gallon! We are getting ripped off!

Not Free Market it’s Market Manipulation. Free Market would indicate that someone else is selling it cheaper and you can choose seller B over Seller A. In Fuel there is almost no variation in price between Seller A and B because fuel pricing is basically a Monopoly.

Let me clear up your confusion. My comment was actually intended as sarcasm.

With few exceptions you can make your case for just about everything sold in the US / world . I think free markets died many decades ago and Adam Smith would be appalled by modern "capitalism".

You probably dont want to hear my true feelings and it would likely get me a timeout.
