I picked up a L285 non running and it needs a injection pump and 3 point link, lift rod and check chains. The Only place I could find these parts wants $1400 for just the injection pump and 3 point link. (Not including the lift rod and check chains)
The injection pump could be rebuilt for $750 or replaced with a china one for $600. Just looking for a cheaper alternative. (If anyone has a recommendations where I could get one rebuilt for less than $750 that would also be super helpful)

Not trying to dump a whole bunch of money into this as I'm in highschool and don't have much to throw at this.

The injection pump is going to cost you, they are getting harder and harder to find.
What is wrong with it?
You can but aftermarket links that will work for about $300 for all the parts you need.

Send a PM to @007kubotaguy and see what he might be able to do for you.

Wasn't pumping fuel on the rear cylinder, then the barrel started moving when turning over the motor after I pulled the delivery valve to confirm it wasn't the problem. The pin holding the barrel sheared off, I ordered a replacement pin and its incorrect, and I'm not even sure if that'll fix it not pumping fuel. I've never worked on a diesel much less an injection pump.

Here's a video https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16Hib9fUP6y/

(ignore the low compression I had pulled the release)

edit: I'm also unsure what you mean by "you can but aftermarket links that will work for about $300 for all the parts you need." I'm also reading this well half awake lol.

@007kubotaguy has a salvage yard in California that may have those parts you need. Here is the phone number

This place is a good repair shop and may have a rebuilt pump or cheaper repair

29" center pin to center pin
7/8"
20 1/4" pin to pin on the RH adjustable lift link
17 1/2" mounting hole to mounting hole (not sure what position the lower link should be in to measure this as I don't have the RH sway link either)
