I can still step up to the operator station with a 6 gallon can and rest it on the steering wheel to pour into the filler neck in the center of the hood, but upgrading to a well used, yet completely functional, 50 gallon transfer tank with 12v pump and auto shutoff nozzle has been really sweet. Recommend highly.

I’ve found plenty of things other than fueling my tractor to get my exercise.

5 gallons of water is heavier.

In case anyone is keeping score (I'm looking at you, operators of steam engines).

A free 275 gallon heating oil tank (lots of people converting to propane for some reason) and a manual "rocker" pump that I don't remember how I wound up with . Top it off once a year - hopefully when prices are down - and problem solved very cheaply and efficiently.

Beyond SS FRA, but still able to easily handle a 5gal jug of diesel. Being short needed a ladder on the old NH or haul the can and me up and take a breath while the jug sat on the seat before fueling. BX. Feet on the ground. No real lifting or bending over. Nice!

Only thing I don't like about fueling the BX is the current price of diesel. But then I have to remember the BX just sips vs. the old NH guzzling diesel. Nice!

Upon the manicured lawn, the BX is miserly with costly petroleum distillate.
