So I was preparing to buy a new B2601, trying to get my wants and needs figured out. I sought out your suggestions in another thread. But yesterday I decided to call around and see if any dealers had any used ones. (Facebook and other sides turned up nothing). And a dealer in Statesville had one come in the day before! 2023 B2601 with front end loader 54” QA bucket, land pride box blade, CID forks, and land pride QH15 3 point quick attach hitch with 53 hours for $18K. I thought it was a pretty good price so I bought it today. IMG_8030.jpeg IMG_8031.jpeg IMG_5444.jpeg

WOW!!! That's an awesome price on a barely broken-in tractor. Congratulations on a great score!
Now it's time to have some fun.

You’re due for the 50 hr. service if it hasn’t been done already! Great tractor and good price.

I agree - not a deal breaker at that price if not but hopefully the dealer is reputable and did this BEFORE selling it to you.

50 hour was apparently done at 42.
Oil filter, fuel filter and some other filter maybe hydrolic? HH660-36060. Looks like oil was 15W40 and some UDT2 which I guess hydraulic oil. Shop charged $585

Nice mirrors, very handy - looks like the exact same ones I have on mine.
Just a heads up, one WILL get knocked off eventually. Happened to me and I managed to run it over. :(
Ordered a second pair and guess what - knocked the same one off and it broke on impact. So now I have 2 right sided mirrors so I just mount one upside down on the left side. I still like them though.

Congratulations on a good little tractor.

Mine has been reliable as an anvil in the 3 years I've owned it.

I can't say that about the 1025R it replaced.

I love the small B tractors! My 2013 B2620 has needed absolutely nothing except tires, a battery and a broken weld on the loader joystick and it's still going strong. And I do everything with it. Road building on my property, a septic field, loader/backhoe work, box blading, chipper, PTO generator, etc. It gets worked.

Same tractor here and same feelings! You will like the blend of nimbleness and capability that the B2601 offers. Plus there are lots of ways to expand its utility - rear wheels spacers for stability, 3rd function out front and rear remote out back, and then keep a sharp daily eye out on CL and FBMP for screaming deals on the other attachments that you will inevitably want.
