Between draught and high demand for municipal water, lakes across Texas have dropped. Folks with private boat docks are upset lake level dropped leaving boats high and dry. With consistent triple digits hvac contractors naming their price and still 5 days to a week behind. Fresh out of Central America and Middle East contractors bidding low and promising same day service. Guys show up to check ac and claim they need cash upfront before installing new parts. After customer forks over cash, guy supposedly goes for parts never to be seen again.

Well, I just paid my winter contract for propane, $1.65 a gallon. Summer fill was $1.45. I'm ready for winter!!

Too freaking hot and dry to do anything in Arkansas, mine’s been topped off, lubed, and just sitting there. Glad I finished bush hogging the farm 3 weeks ago, one spark from a blade against a rock and all of Madison county would be on fire.

yep, couple hours north of you and the ground is so hard the chickens have shin splints.

Just 30 minutes north, my physical therapist in the city has so much rain the deer have moved into the city and surrounding burbs eating all the townies vegetable and flower gardens. Almost hit a deer on the city street at 2PM
