My ZG327 has developed a ticking sound. Is it possible the valves just need adjusting or is it something worse? It’s a 2007 model with 450 hours. I recently changed the oil and that the advice of the Dealer I used to 10W-30. I had been using 10W-40. The oil level is fine. The ticking sound is slightly worse with the new oil. Link is to a short video with the ticking sound. I wouldn’t really appreciate any insight any experts might have.

Hello out there. I haven’t seen any responses to my question. Maybe I didn’t ask you the right one or committed to some other forum impoliteness, I’m really sure. Anyway, I would really appreciate it with someone knowledgeable could give a quick listen to that video and tell me if they hear anything concerning.. With the engine running, remove the plug wires from the spark plugs one at a time. See if there is a difference between having the #1 wire off and having the #2 wire removed.
Use insulated pliers to remove the wires.

Honestly, I can’t hear the ticking.
I have no knowledge of that motor, but are you able to remove the valve cover and check the “valve lash” or inspect for some sort of other “anomaly”?
