I recently did a 'delete' on my ZD1511 mower. The V-1505 engine has always run rough when cold, and now that I have removed the DPF, I see how bad it smokes on start. Are there fuel adjustments on the injector pump I could have my mechanic tinker with to smooth out these cold starts (I'm not talking actual cold starts, we're talking 70 degree plus). It's a great mower, but I could handle the regen's every 4-5 hours. Thanks. Feel free to reach out directly to my at (MOD EDIT No email contacts in threads). Thanks

Being an electronically controlled governor there are no fuel adjustments to be made. The only thing that could be adjusted would be timing via the shims under the injection pump.
You say smoke but do not describe the color. Is it greyish whitish in color? Diesels being a compression ignition engine requiring heat for ignition, do smoke until the warm up unless they have some type of variable timing arrangement that would help mitigate the smoke.
