New fuel filter location on BX2230

What do you think, this replaces the pre-filter before the fuel pump, I'm just to dam old to be crawling under there to replace the filter, this is just a dry fit want to be sure everything is going to work, a question I have is can I remove the front filter also with this setup.

I'd retain the filter after the pump. When my 'pre-filter' clogged the first time, I changed both. I cut open the 'pre-filter' and it was clogged crusty, the after filter was clean. But I'd not want to risk a injector issue and that second filter is really easy to change, so I'd leave it.
As far as you new filter, as long as you cannot kick it by accident, it should be fine. Certainly safe from debris under the machine.

Looks good! I'm still young enough to climb under (just turned 70, so still a kid), but I really like the idea of being able to see that filter at a glance.

I'd keep the second filter after the pump also. Additionally, I put a shut off just before the primary filter so I can stop fuel from the tank when I change filters - easy-peasy.

EDIT: Nice job on the bracket fabrication by the way!

As mentioned by Bee - keep the second filter and place ball valve before primary filter.
