I just picked up a nice BX2200 that came with an aftermarket 60” bucket on it. Visually, it looks a little big. Functionally, will it pick up too much material (weight) for the la211 loader to handle? I will be using it for everything from gravel, sand, rocks, snow removal, dirt moving, wood chips, even light trenching with a tooth bar. Thoughts?

Well,
You will find out several things.......

As the weight increases........ grip on rear decreases. GET ballast on rear - several hundred pounds!!!!!

As the weight increases...... more strain on front end - no real fix there

You will find a full bucket may be a bad thing - thus know your limitations

The toothbar's advantage is that an edge has a small footprint engaging the dirt - you will have more than you want at times.

Be smart and keep that bucket loooooooooooow

I have the option to buy an unused 48" BX bucket for $350 CAD. i think it might be a good thing.
Reach out to your local Kubota dealership. Mine has a lot of new pin-on buckets sitting there in the scrap heap basically as people upgraded to SSQA buckets. I think they were $100-$200 each, but I'm sure I could've talked them down. Still, $350/CAD is pretty good.

So do I.

The 60" bucket is too big and too heavy for your BX unless you plan to load marshmellows.

I use my neighbors 60 with my BX23s for when I want to move woodchips or re-pile my compost. I have been using it to move gravel one bucket at a time about a mile to my house. I have to lift the bucket with the pile otherwise the loader itself won't more than a couple inches. It's nice having it but it does not stay on all the time. I'm going to have to buy one when he moves. His 60" box blade. I'll miss that too.

Congratulations. Sounds like you're going to own two buckets in the future.
Looks like you're in ontario. The large bucket or the light material bucket is probably going to be great for pushing snow along the ground. For the smaller snowfalls.
Then the small for normal day, to day jobs or for your trenching plans. The smaller bucket weighing less will also leave more lift capacity for bigger jobs.
