@MapleLeafFarmer Might as well get your own hose press and bulk hose for that reason! Either way you pay for it in time driving to and fro dealer, or money to have the stuff on hand. Its a lose lose

Let me give you a negative to using SUDT2, if it's got any seeping leaks they are going to get worse!
SUDT2 is much thinner than UDT.
While your at it service and change the front axle fluid too, it uses the same kids of fluids as the rest of the tractor.
Follow the WSM for how to service the front axle (as well as the rest of the tractor) as older models vary in the amount of drains there will be.

@North Idaho Wolfman Thanks for the recommendation. I plan on going through all fluids/filters so I have a baseline on the machine and know exactly when things are due. Coolant and all.
Owner's manual shows the front axle using 80w90. Is that not correct?

I keep going back and forth between just getting Travellers Premium Universal for the loader & trans, or just the loader.

Just use UDT in the whole tractor (besides engine) and everything will be happy!
Our weather here is very similar to yours and I run UDT in everything and have no fluid related issues.

@North Idaho Wolfman So you would just suggest at this point to get the Travellers premium as well and be done? I was more worried about the shuttle shift than I was the transmission. I don't have a preference one way or the other, just want to make sure its not going to cause any issues.

I have a much newer and much more hydraulically dependent and complicated GST (glide shift) and an HST I've been using UDT compatible fluid (Mystik JT-5) for 14+ years and never have fluid issues even in the dead of winter.

@North Idaho Wolfman Just got off the phone with a local guy who works on older equipment. He agrees that the Travellers premium will be fine for that machine based on age and being gear shift.
I appreciate everyone on here's patience and input. Thinking at this point ill just run that in the whole machine and save money/simpler.
Thanks!
