I got to servicing my Kubota and found that the weld on one side of my front motor mount has separated. I contacted Kubota and they priced me something god awful of a figure to repair it. Has anyone on here faced the same issue and if so what did you do other than take it in to be repaired. Thanks guys. IMG_9855.jpeg

Can you weld?

If yes, maybe you could loosen that nut, jack engine up slightly, bend the top back down.

Then re-weld. Not sure what your access is like. Make sure not to get any splatter on the flywheel.
(I guess that's the flywheel, not sure why it on the front of the engine though)

Not 100% sure, but is the mount bolted to the engine (yellow arrow)? If yes, you could jack up the engine a bit, take the mount off and bring it to a shop that welds it for you.

Yes, it seems it is bolted (part #040). New under 100$ from Messicks, plus shipping. So you can replace it too.

Not sure how easy it is to remove with the engine in. Maybe the engine has to be taken out which would explain the high repair quote you got.

I am very disappointed with Kubota over this... very little fusion on the side that separated.

I would extract the rubber isolator and repair the mount.

Should be a pretty straightforward repair for someone with some welding/fab skills. Hopefully you know someone? I would also replace part #70 as it looks to be a victim from the broken weld.
