B7500 doesn't have hydraulic oil cleaner?

Not sure of the year of my b7500. But it does not have the hydraulic Oil strainer beside the filter by shown in the manual and in many of the post on the internet

this may help:


  • Location: Look under the right side of the transmission housing. It sits alongside the right-side hydraulic/transmission filter.
  • Removal: Loosen the large bolt or cap (often around a 26mm or equivalent size). Pull the metal strainer screen straight out.
  • Cleaning: Wash the metal screen thoroughly with solvent or kerosene and blow it out with compressed air to remove any trapped metal shavings or debris.
  • Reinstallation: Replace the O-ring seal if it shows signs of wear, coat the new or cleaned seal with hydraulic fluid, and reinsert it. Tighten the cap

Is your tractor gear drive or HST drive?

Gear drive parts list does not show a screen only one canister filter.
HST drive parts list does show a screen and same canister filter but there is a second canister filter.
The screen is near the larger filter on the HST model.

Gear drive parts list does not show a screen only one canister filter.
HST drive parts list does show a screen and same canister filter but there is a second canister filter.
The screen is near the larger filter on the HST model.

It is gear driven, thank you very much my manual does not show one versus the other that is one thing I was trying to find but didn't even find it on the internet when I was looking so thank you very much
