I purchased a used 18ish M6-111 a few months back. Dealer said it came from a construction company. It does not have a radio installed. It does have speakers. When I pop the cover plate off, I see a plug with 7 terminals installed. That plug is nothing like the "plug n play" harness that comes with the radio that is supposed to fit it.

Is this even a radio plug? If so, what is it called? I've looked at dozens of radios the last few days, and none look anything like this.

Thanks in advance.

yes Kubota uses a 9 pin plug.
You can find adapters all over the internet / amazon etc.... to adapt to "more normal" plug types.
Will find you a link shortly

or what I like is the fast radio option. $100 for a dongle reciever. plug into the kubota plug you have and blue tooth from your phone direct through kubota stereo.

Not sure if the M6-111 has the same wiring for the radio as the M6060/M7060 but here's the schematic for my tractor. I cut off both connectors in both tractors when I installed Kenwood head units. I solder and heat shrink the wires from the head unit connector directly into the tractor harness.

I figure this will have to be the way I go, but there is extremely limited room in there as it is. I may have to pull the side console apart to truly get to it.

Without being able to see the wires, does the last picture of the rectangular plug look like any kind of radio connection you've seen? I'm not even sure it is radio, but it was right behind the cover plate like you would expect.

Typically there are seven pins available with four for the speakers, one ground, one 12V constant and one 12V accessory. The connector you show looks like the typical radio connector. What are the colors of the wires going into the connector?

I'll see if I can get a picture of the wires when I get home.

What do you mean by typical radio connector? Most I see are 3x3 square plug for Kubota or something else entirely.

I don't remember a 3x3 connector for either radios in my tractors but it's been almost 5 years since I installed the Kenwoods. The radio uses seven wires and I remember when the local dealer gave me a free Jensen radio, that's sitting in the original box, that the connector didn't match the one in the tractor.

So here's the connector on the Jensen head unit that the local dealer gave me around 5 years ago and that I never installed. This connector did not interface with the connector in the MX. This is the 3x3 that you mentioned but that's not what I had in either tractor.

There's reference to KUB1 REVA but I ended up with Kenwood connectors soldered into the factory wiring harness and prefer that approach with cars and trucks too. I opted for the same head unit in both tractors so that I didn't have to learn two sets of features or controls.
