I have been reading a bunch of OTT forums/posts on my iPhone over the last few years. Starting yesterday, I began to really struggle with it rendering a page. I tried 2 different browsers, and it is acting the same in either browser. It seems to be loading a bunch of "cover over" ads that I can't clear fast enough to keep the page loading.

Anyone else see this happening or have suggestions?

Thanks!

Android here and not happening. Malware would be my first WAG.

Become a lifetime member and those “cover over” adds will go away…lifetime membership is chump-change compared to the vast knowledge of the contributors you’ll find here.

I had a similar experience the other day, but no further issues after a couple hours. I had 2 tabs of OTT discussions open and both tabs simultaneously switched to what looked to be a Norton antivirus page - not just an add but a whole new webpage. "Norton" said they detected a virus on my device and that I needed to proceed with their instructions. Well, since I don't use Norton, I closed those tabs immediately, but it was a strange one for sure, since it did look kinda legit. I've never seen an add totally take over a page before and open a whole new website without being prompted.
