I think this question is too subjective and has the potential to go down the political rabbit hole real quick - so no comment.

It’s just a question of perception, there is no right or wrong. If you are a boomer who already cashed out you might feel better about things than a millennial trying to buy their first home.

My health is worse, so I'm not better off.
Also the 'economy' sucks but with house paid off 38 years ago, I can weather the 'storm'.
Got a Texas box for my pickup so that's GREAT.

What is a Texas Box? Did you have to smuggle it across the border?

"Better off" is too general. In what way, so I voted unsure.

Btw, I think you'll get better poll results if how people vote isn't visible.

I have more implements today than I did one year ago, so IMO I am doing better from a tractorin’ standpoint.

In MY personal terms, YES. I have been preparing for these days. I rely less on the outside world this year. Food forest and the garden are doing way better than last year, I got 2 steers and a ram walking the field again this year. My 2 big ponds are almost done. Just need some rain. Still healthy. Solar is done. Don't care so much about the rest of the world, I know where its heading (down). Life is good on my** 20 acres.

x2

By the way - thanks for pointing me towards a grapple in another thread.

But i have to say the inflation over the last few years stings.
NP…spending other people’s money is one of my super powers. I don’t remember the specific thread / models you were considering, but I hope you found it helpful and you are happy with whatever it end up with. I probably saw it but forgot which thread.

happy tractorin’

Absolutely better off this year.

Now if my doctor could just prescribe me some effective anti-aging pills things would be perfect!

All about the attitude.

I am 67 and still skiing a bunch, maintain basically everything, 3 homes, boats, trucks, cars, help friends when needed and financially we and our kids are set for life.

At 65 I started to notice that I couldn’t work hard for 10-12 hours as I used to…now it’s about 8 or so.

I try to stay healthy…the family is doing great…and am grateful for each day. My biggest problem, according to my wifey of 46 years…is I have no idea how to relax.😎

My wife and I own a cleaning business......we control the "better" to suit our needs.
I don't like the price of fuel since our business is always on the move.
But adjustments can be made to take control of just about everything.

I got laid off in december, but it wasn't anything related to anything. I finished a 10 year integration ahead of schedule. Now that i'm looking at the market, things pay a lot more than they did when i got my last gig a decade ago. So i'm gonna take a year and get my stuff situated.
